There are many different types of violence, but here we will only talk about a few. Racism; sexism; homophobia; bullying and sexual harassment. Racism is defined in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary as a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. Sexism is defined as prejudice or discrimination based on sex; especially : discrimination against women. Homophobia is defined as irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals. Bullying is defined as to treat abusively. Sexual harassment is defined as uninvited and unwelcome verbal or physical conduct directed at someone because of his or her sex.
